To be able to flow in everyday life whilst feeling grounded is our greatest goal... Sometimes we can, but sometimes we forget and then remember and begin again and again and again. Nature & Sound have the power to remind us, and we would like to share this with you.

We meet in the magical valley of El Bolsón, at La Tregua Retreat Centre. This natural paradise nestled amongst the majestic peaks of the Patagonian Andes is a powerful place where one of Argentina’s first alternative communities was established in the early 70's. A Mecca of sustainable living, community integration, Healing Arts and Wild Nature. This retreat is as much a community experience as it is a personal one.

During this retreat we will share and practice Gong Playing, Sound Healing, Jaming sessions, Yoga, time in breathtaking Nature. We will bear witness to the archetypical energies and emotions of the Elements, guiding us to recognise these within our own bodies and their influence on our emotions.

With the Gong and Sound Healing techniques we make space to bring those fragmented parts of ourselves back into wholeness.

There will aslos be space for you to learn techniques, instrumentation, and how to play, with the emphasis on experiential emergence of sound.

Each day we begin with movement and a return to our bodies alongside meditations to foster introspection, proprioception, and breath. This is the groundwork that opens us to experience the rest!

As well as all this, you will experience receiving and giving Sound Baths and Singing Bowl massages, star gazing, and delicious vegetarian meals prepared with organic local produce.

Accommodation Details:

Lodging is at the retreat centre is in shared dorms (up to 4 people) with the a limited option for private rooms with double bed. You must be aware that this is not luxury accommodation, it is clean and warm basic mountain lodge style. All rooms are with shared bathroom - sharing with up to 4 other participants. The retreat centre is in the mountain, completely surrounded by nature.  The closest town (El Bolsón) is 15km away.

Food Allergies and Special Food Needs:

We try to accommodate to the best of our ability with vegetarian and vegan meal options. If you have further specific allergies (such as allum allergies, or needs that exceed standard vegan fare) we encourage you to supplement our offerings with your own food. There will be kitchen facilities available.

Here's what included:

Lodging in shared mountain lodge styel accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and supper

Programmed outings during the retreat.  The programmed outings during the retreat will be:

• Day outing to Piedra Parada, an outstanding rock formation in the centre of what was a vast volcanic crater in the Patagonian step, at the edge of the Chubut river. We come into contact with the vastness of space and the sounds of the rocks as we visit a cañon with Cathedral like resonance. Here we hear the voices of the rocks and the desert.

• Walk in the Rio Azul are.  A magnificent blue river which runs down from a glacier only a few kilometres away at the top of the mountain through the most eastern edges of the cold rain forest.  These fresh cleansing waters share the magic of all the elements, as does the space the river runs through.  Here we meet the voices of the River and the Forest.

• Trip to Cerro Piltriquitron & Bosque Tallado. We reach the top of the mountain where breathtaking views show us the borders of the woodland and the step. Cerro Piltriquitron (moutain covered in clouds) is a sacred site, and the most westerly peak of this area's Andes where mountain meets step, where the clouds are held to bring life to the valley. On our way we walk through the Bosque Tallado, an outdoor art gallery filled with tree trucks carved by locas sculputres showing the life and cultrue of this magical place.

There are many othe beautiful sites to visit and we would be happy to add a few days to the trip to visit some local lakes, laberimths, mountain lodges, street market, etc... El Bolsón is also renound for it's wellness centres offering a wide variety treatments. Here's what's NOT included:

Transportation to and from the event, ground transfers, taxis, and snacks

Travel, Arrivals and Departures:

• To date Visa is not necessary for Argentina from most international locations, but we advise you check with your local Argentine consulate.
  

• The closest airport is San Carlos de Bariloche from where there are 3 bus services per day to El Bolsón (approximate cost 10€).

• Closest international airport is Buenos Aires.  It is sometimes possible to buy international flight schedule with final destination of San Carlos de Bariloche which is a 2 1/2 hour flight from Buenos Aires.  However you must take into account that the internal flights from Buenos Aires often depart from a different airport.  It is also possible to travel from Buenos Aires to San Carlos de Bariloche by bus.  This is a 22 hour journey.

• We will meet at Abby's family Holisitic Centre in El Bolsón at 4pm on January 19 to make our way to the Retreat Centre 15km from the town.

• The workshop begins at 18:00 on January 19, and concludes at 16:00 on January 25th. We appreciate you arranging your travel and transports around this schedule.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET SALES:

Our events are often small in setting, and we try to keep our prices and tuitions in alignment to create as much access as possible. That said:

• All sales are final upon purchase.

• There are no cash refunds.

If you cannot attend an event, please notify us immediately, so we can offer your spot to someone on the waiting list. We can only honor this option up to one month prior to the start of the event. If we can offer it to someone on the waiting list, your full payments will be forwarded to a future training with us, valid within two years from the purchase date. If we cannot fill the space, we will forward 75% of the payment to a future training with us, valid within two years from the purchase date. Price changes, availability, and variabilities apply.

Should the event be cancelled due to acts of god (fire, flood) or sickness of facilitators, tuition will be refunded, less bank fees and administrative costs.
