Full Moon in Pisces - September 7, 2025
On the 7th of September we will experience a Full Moon in Pisces with a Total Lunar Eclipse on the Virgo–Pisces axis.

The Lunar Nodes are the two mathematical points where the Moon’s orbit crosses the Earth’s path around the Sun (the ecliptic). When the Sun and Moon are close to the nodal axis at a Full or New Moon, we enter eclipse season. During these times, the nodal alignment lingers, creating a kind of portal in which fated events can occur for up to six months before and after an eclipse.
The South Node represents our starting point—the familiar—while the North Node is what we are meant to embrace, ultimately creating balance between them.
This Full Moon is part of a trilogy that started with the New Moon in Virgo on August 23 (read my previous update, below) and will end with another New Moon in Virgo with a Solar Eclipse on September 21.
During the previous New Moon at 0° Virgo, we looked more deeply into our daily routines, work, health, and public service—seeding new ideas and bringing new order to these themes. With this Full Moon at 15° Pisces and an eclipse on the Virgo–Pisces axis, we may be shown our illusions in these themes and where we have been avoiding truth.
The Lunar Eclipse on September 7, shines light on our shadow, dissolving and releasing what no longer aligns with our path or has outlived its purpose (Sun).
So—what needs to go?
(This could be a karmic ending or purge.)
The Moon on the North Node in Pisces pulls us toward destiny, compassion, and soul alignment. With the ruler of Pisces (Neptune) now retrograde in Aries, themes include reflecting on personal sovereignty, how we can empower and shift personal and collective ideals (Pisces) into courageous action (Aries).
The South Node in Virgo, with the Sun and Mercury, may bring mental overdrive, analysis, and anxiety. The task is to let go of perfection and control (Virgo) and step into devotion (Pisces) by choosing faithful service and surrender to higher forces.
Shadow themes to transmute:
Martyr/Savior loops;
Spiritual bypassing (“love & light” instead of accountability);
Escapism and Addictions;
Foggy commitments;
Avoidance of details;
Over-analysis (Virgo) vs. Chaotic urrender (Pisces).
Choose disciplined compassion. Saturn’s return to Pisces (see previous update) speaks of compassion with boundaries and devotional, integrated service.
Jupiter in Cancer trining the Moon and sextile to the Sun supports authenticity and may challenge our emotional security. Its square to Mars in Libra (relationships, alliances) can initiate radical honesty, justice, and balance—prompting the hard conversations we’ve been avoiding... Listen!
Venus in Leo, forming a quincunx to the Moon and a semi-sextile to the Sun, asks: Do we truly love ourselves, as we are? If so, shine it!
If you have planets or angles at 12–18° of the mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), expect stronger influence, exposures or closures.
This Full Moon is extremely karmic and destiny oriented. Its ripples can be felt for up to six months.
On September 21 we will have a New Moon at 29° Virgo with a Solar Eclipse, which may bring us to the final chapter of this trilogy, offer understanding of this process, and finally, a rebirth.
On September 22nd we will be livestreaming a unique Astrology, Movement & Sound Experience from our Sound Temple in Jubrique to You, wherever you may be!!
We look forward to seeing you there... In the meantime...
Stay Safe, Take Care and Love the One you Are.

New Moon in Virgo — August 23, 2025
This New Moon at 00°23′ Virgo is very special, as it continues next month: on 21 September we will have another New Moon in Virgo with a solar eclipse at 29°05′. This marks a very important and powerful “New Beginning” taking place in our lives.
Eclipses are known in astrology as fated events, a “call of destiny.” People, possessions, and events may show up unexpectedly and disappear just as unexpectedly from our lives. I will unpack these themes in the next update.

Major themes of the New Moon in Virgo are purification, craft, and public service.It invites us to look more deeply into our daily routines, work, service to others, the right use of resources, and our health. We may seek security in our personal lives by caring for our needs and overcoming our weaknesses. It is less about perfection and more about devotion to improvement.
The New Moon in Virgo squaring Uranus in Gemini creates a mutable square that may cause disruptions and demand adaptation. Virgo wants order and functional systems; Uranus in Gemini may bring shocks through information, technology, and communication that can influence our lives through:
Routine changes: carefully built habits and workflows get scrambled; sudden schedule shifts, app/tool failures, curveballs at work.
Data shocks: surprising news, disclosures, rapid pivots in plans; messages that reframe a situation overnight.
Mental overdrive: restlessness, insomnia, “too many tabs open”; analysis paralysis vs. impulsive switching.
Body signals: Virgo — digestion, intestines, nerves, anxiety. Gemini — lungs, left-brain/rational functions, motor skills, limbs, mobility. Possible tension, digestion sensitivity, breath-holding under stress, and a sense of overload.
We can respond with a more flexible attitude. Uranus wants an upgrade:
Choose new tools, skills, workflows, conversations, courses, or mentorship.
Choose small rituals and exercises, and practice them daily to connect with presence, your breath, and the Earth when walking.
Make a healthy routine a sacred duty, not a punishment.
A simpler, healthier diet may serve us over the next four weeks.
Small habit changes in daily routines can create big changes in life.
Clean your calendar, finances, and desktop.
Define who you want to help, how you want to help, and act.
With the ruler of Virgo and Gemini, Mercury (now in Leo), we may have a stronger analytical and mental focus on the true creative purpose of our lives—our legacy, our children, and our heart’s desires. Have these conversations with those closest to you.
The New Moon forms a quincunx to a “new version of ourselves” (Neptune, Saturn in Aries) and to Pluto in Aquarius, creating some tension and asking how we are doing the work to embody this new self emerging from previous months. Will it be long-lasting? Does it have a proper foundation—can it be relied upon?
If you have personal planets/angles at 0–3° mutable (Gemini/Virgo/Sagittarius/Pisces), you may experience immediate plot twists and conversations that alter your trajectory.

Full Moon in Aquarius – August 9, 2025

The upcoming Full Moon in Aquarius centers on authenticity, freedom, and emotional clarity. It offers an opportunity to reflect on how we process emotions and invites us to rise above social conditioning with greater awareness. This lunation encourages us to navigate challenges with increased objectivity and emotional confidence.
Opposite the Moon, the Sun in Leo seeks a life of purpose, heartfelt connection, and creative expression. It desires to be seen, appreciated, and to channel its willpower into building a brighter future — for ourselves and for the generations to come.
This Full Moon may trigger sudden realizations, emotional breakthroughs, or moments of liberation, helping us let go of what no longer supports our growth — whether in personal relationships, friendships, or within our communities.
Aquarian energy tends to be detached or cerebral, often favoring thought over feeling and avoiding emotional vulnerability. In contrast, Leo energy craves emotional presence and authentic connection from the heart.
The evolutionary task is to find emotional freedom without detachment and self-expression free from ego-driven motives.

A Rare and Transformative Alignment During the Full Moon in Aquarius
During this Full Moon, we are experiencing one of the most profound astrological alignments of our era — a Minor Grand Trine involving Uranus, Pluto, and Neptune, active until June 2028. The prolonged synergy of these outer planets holds the potential to radically shift our culture, personal lives, and collective consciousness.
Over time, this alignment may foster greater openness, progressive thinking, and a heightened receptivity to change. It encourages us to become more inclusive and accepting, while also paving the way for groundbreaking discoveries, and innovations across fields such as science, technology, medicine, communication, and travel.
At a higher level, this could mark a period of spiritual renaissance and societal transformation, influencing not only our inner lives but also the social, economic, and political structures around us.
Saturn–Neptune Conjunction in Aries: June 9 – August 23, 2025
Simultaneously, Saturn and Neptune unite in Aries, adding a powerful layer of spiritual and personal evolution. This conjunction brings forward key themes:
Spiritual Maturity: A time of karma manifesting — where idealism must meet reality, and spiritual escapism gives way to grounded truth.
Rebirth of Self and Vision: A call to step into a new version of yourself through personal responsibility and integrity.
Dissolution of Ego Illusions: Neptune dissolves what is false, while Saturn confronts us with what is real and enduring.
The Spiritual Warrior Archetype: True healing arises through courageous, conscious action, not passivity.
This alignment challenges us to embody a New Self — one that fuses our highest spiritual ideals (Neptune) with disciplined action and accountability (Saturn), driven by boldness and initiative (Aries).
Mars Activates the Sky: Kite Aspect and Rising Tension
Under this Full Moon, Mars — ruler of Aries and War — intensifies the cosmic landscape by forming an opposition (Confrontation alignments) to the Saturn–Neptune conjunction, completing a Kite pattern. This aspect serves as a release point, channeling the built-up tension from the Uranus–Pluto–Saturn/Neptune triangle.
This is a highly charged and emotionally volatile alignment.
Mars’ opposition may provoke anger, frustration, and power struggles, particularly involving those in authority or control (Saturn), potentially leading to blocked desires and suppressed energy.
With Mars opposing Neptune, there’s also risk of confusion, deception, or disillusionment — especially for those chasing unrealistic dreams or idealized fantasies. Feelings of uncertainty, insecurity, guilt, or self-doubt may rise to the surface. Structures you once believed were solid and dependable — relationships, possessions, or personal foundations — may dissolve unexpectedly.
This Full Moon brings potential for:
Sudden shifts or closures in relationships, social groups, or community ties.
A call to embrace your unique role in the collective evolution — Aquarius represents humanity, innovation, and the future.
The release of outdated social roles or obligations, and freedom from ancestral or societal conditioning.
Navigating the Intensity:
Stay centered and discerning — seek truth over illusion.
Allow emotional challenges to fuel personal transformation.
Align vision with action — dream wisely, but act responsibly.
Release what no longer aligns with your soul’s evolution.
In the global picture we are at risk of serious War, in the micro plan be aware of our relationship and internal wars.
Lunar North Node reminds us that the major key is forgiveness.
Stay Safe, Take Care and Love the One you Are.
