Body & Soul Spa for Women

During the Body & Soul Spa workshop for Women, we will work with Heart Energy and the element of fire. We will share with you heart massage techniques that help to release stuck emotions and open to the inner energy of love.

Thanks to a special Sauna Ceremony (Temazcal), which will connect us with our female lineage, we aim to embrace our story and that of all the women that came before us in order to  free ourselves from the outdated patterns which we carrie with us unconciously,  inherited from our female lineage,  from countless generations of women .  We aim to create a new paradigm of Love, Tenderness and Compassion.

Temazcal is the name Mexicans use to describe what is known in Native American culture as Sweat Lodge. Temazcal is a dome-shaped structure representing the Mother's Womb, Mother Earth's Womb or Great Mother, who is pure Love and Kindness; into which we enter so that we can look within ourselves, see ourselves there, meet our Self. In the center of the Hut there is a hole in which red hot stones are placed - representing the father, sun, light and masculinity needed to start a new life. In this ceremony, we use our voices and powerful drumming to release all we need to enter the present, here and now, where anything is possible. Coming out of this space symbolizes our rebirth from the darkness and silence of the womb. This is not a religious ritual, it's just a Native American custom to perform the Sauna ritual.

The sound of an archaic instrument and the human voice are carriers of the sound of nature and everything that surrounds us. True sound comes from the heart, from the soul. It is a faithful servant of the mind and emotions. By opening the body through the dance of 5 Rhythms, inviting the healing breath, we will allow the meeting with our inner voice. We will listen to the relationship between the body and the voice. 

Practicing archaic, improvised singing during this workshop we will unleash powerful, ethereal and meditative vocal sounds. The combination of archaic singing with movement gives the possibility of authentic improvisation, opening up to the power of intuition that connects us with ourselves and the environment.

Through these particular methods we will discover our uniqueness and inner strength. The surrounding nature and silence will support us on this journey together.
